As the name itself would suggest cosmetic dentistry is the art of beautification of the teeth by using different methods. Cosmetics of different types are used by women for the beautification of their bodies but the ones that are used for the beautification of the teeth are altogether different. These are proper doctoral procedures done by experienced dentists and are not used by some beautician. 5. Veneers: these are the thin laminates of porcelain which are bonded to the teeth directly. These are used to give a better look to the teeth by closing the gaps or covering up bad coloured teeth where the bleaching has failed to throw up good results.
